  • 18 oz imitation crab, chopped into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, finely diced into 1/4-inch pieces
  • 1/3 cup onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried dill

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook the spiral pasta according to package directions until al dente (usually 8-10 minutes).
  3. While pasta cooks, finely dice the green pepper into 1/4-inch pieces.
  4. Chop the celery into similar-sized pieces.
  5. Dice the onion.
  6. Chop the fresh parsley.
  7. Drain the cooked pasta thoroughly.
  8. Rinse the pasta with cold water until completely cooled.
  9. Place the cooled pasta into a large mixing bowl.
  10. Chop the imitation crab into 1/2-inch pieces.
  11. Add the chopped crab to the pasta bowl.
  12. Add the diced celery, green pepper, onion, and chopped parsley to the bowl.
  13. Toss everything together gently to distribute the vegetables evenly.
  14. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise and ranch dressing.
  15. Crush the dried dill between your palms as you add it to the dressing mixture.
  16. Stir the dressing until the dill is evenly distributed and the dressing is smooth.
  17. Pour the dressing mixture over the pasta and vegetable mixture.
  18. Fold everything together gently but thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  19. Transfer the salad to an airtight container.
  20. Refrigerate the salad for at least 2 hours before serving.
