Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup peanut butter creamy or chunky
  • 1 cup white sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the egg, peanut butter, and white sugar.
  3. Mix all three ingredients together with a wooden spoon until a cohesive dough forms.
  4. Spoon golf-ball sized portions of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  5. Roll each portion of dough into a smooth ball.
  6. Gently press down on each dough ball with a fork to create a crosshatch pattern.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
  8. Allow the cookies to cool completely on the baking sheet before enjoying.

Notes

Use a standard, processed peanut butter for best results.
Do not overbake; cookies will set as they cool.
Ensure the baking sheet is ungreased.
Let cookies cool fully to prevent crumbling.
